Someone once said that "the Dark Knight" possibly is the biggest psychologial thriller ever made just because it's a constant show of fear and aiming to do the right thing, depending on what you believe is the right thing. And the difference between the two to decide what is the right thing. The darkness between the two, the addiction to the symbiote, but also the will to do the right thing. It's not Eddie Brock is Venom, no it's Eddie Brock and the symbiote are venom. There's a constant conflict of interest going on in this run which gets complicated because Venom is 2 people. I believe the story as a whole is so damn good it's one of the best Marvel runs ever if we only consider continuity stories. But we shouldn't forget that the Venom story lines up for 2 pretty big events. It's still darker than the average marvel comic, the art is gorgeous, and the storytelling goes more towards superhero story than the first book. If you want to know if this is something for you, read the reviews on volume one. There is no reason to read this book if you're not read volume 1. A STARTLING EVOLUTION OF THE VENOM MYTHOS WHEN AN ANCIENT EVIL STIRS, Eddie Brock's entire life is transformedby revelations about his 'other'by the discovery of his son, Dylanand by the re-emergence of Knull, god of the symbiotes Featuring Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman 's entire, character-redefining symbiotic saga in one, monstrous.
